BIOGRAPHY

Ahmed is a British national and a UK qualified lawyer and was admitted as a member of the Law Society of England & Wales in 2014.

Prior to joining the ARP law group, Ahmed was a Partner at a leading UK law firm having established the firm’s Immigration and Middle East desk.

Ahmed was featured and recognised in the 2021 edition of the Spears Magazine’s Spears 500 Top Recommended Private Client lawyers of 2020 (UK).

Ahmed advises a diverse range of clients including government ministries, diplomatic missions, multi-national and domestic companies, non-governmental organisations and UHNW / HNW individuals.

As a UK qualified lawyer Ahmed’s primary focus is advising overseas clients in relation to their legal interests in the UK and requirements under UK law.

Ahmed has advised clients on complex matters in practice areas such as corporate law, taxation, private-client and immigration. Ahmed’s legal background, achievements and skills add further layers of diverse legal experience to the firm’s overall capabilities.

RECENT WORK INCLUDES

  • Advising several multi-national and GCC companies on diversifying and setting up a business presence in the United Kingdom.

  • Advising several HNW and UHNW individuals, and their family offices, in relation to their legal rights and requirements in the United Kingdom.

  • Providing on-going legal advice to a diplomatic mission in relation to their legal rights and requirements in their country of mission.

  • Advising a government ministry on a cross-border commercial litigation dispute with a multi-national corporation.
